Prosper HealthTech Accelerator

Co-Founder & CTO · Fall '25 Cohort

Birmingham, AL

I led Magier AI through the Prosper HealthTech Accelerator powered by gener8tor, an in-person program in Birmingham that connects digital health startups with coaching, capital, and deep healthcare relationships. Here, our AI security platform was pushed to fit real-world healthcare workflows, compliance constraints, and the narrative expectations of payers, providers, and investors.

Program focus

  • Refined a crisp healthcare narrative around Magier as the "AI safety layer" protecting PHI across intake, model training, and inference.
  • Worked closely with mentors from health systems, payers, and digital health startups to shape clinical and operational use cases for AI security.
  • Built a healthcare-focused GTM motion: pilots, proof-of-concept designs, procurement cycles, and ROI storytelling for CIOs, CISOs, and compliance leaders.
  • Stress-tested HIPAA-aligned data handling, BAAs, and security posture with advisors who live inside regulated healthcare organizations.

What I took away

  • Learned to lead with narrative, framing Magier around patient safety, trust, and risk reduction rather than just features and models.
  • Built a repeatable healthcare GTM playbook with clear target segments, champion personas, discovery questions, and proof-of-value milestones.
  • Got much sharper at telling our story in a way that resonates with both mission-driven health leaders and institutional investors.

Northwestern Mutual Accelerator

Co-Founder & CTO · Spring '25 Cohort

Milwaukee, WI

At the Northwestern Mutual Accelerator powered by gener8tor, I guided Magier AI through a 12-week, investment-backed program focused on fintech, insurtech, digital health, and data analytics. The program pairs founders with mentors from Northwestern Mutual and the broader gener8tor network, emphasizing partnerships, enterprise relationships, and investor readiness.

Program focus

  • Worked with corporate innovation, security, and product leaders to map how Magier's AI security stack fits into large-scale financial and digital health ecosystems.
  • Developed a partnership-centric GTM strategy: integration approaches, co-selling motions, and mutual value narratives with enterprise partners.
  • Built relationships with investors, advisors, and executives who understand regulated industries, compliance, and enterprise SaaS buying cycles.
  • Tested pricing, packaging, and pilot structures that align with multi-stakeholder enterprise buying committees.

What I took away

  • Learned how to design true partnerships, not just pilots-with clear shared outcomes, executive sponsorship, and expansion paths.
  • Built a more disciplined GTM motion for enterprise: stakeholder mapping, relationship building, and long-cycle, multi-threaded sales.
  • Tightened our metrics, dashboards, and communications so Magier is "board-ready" for both investors and strategic partners.

Techstars Accelerator

Co-Founder & CTO · Fall '24 Cohort

Tulsa, OK

The Build in Tulsa Techstars Accelerator was my crash course in being a venture-backed founder. Over an intense three-month, mentorship-driven program, I worked with the Techstars network to sharpen Magier's story, validate customer pain, and get truly prepared for fundraising.

Program focus

  • Weekly mentor meetings with seasoned founders, operators, and investors to critique our product, positioning, and roadmap.
  • Structured content on startup fundamentals: product–market fit, traction, hiring, culture, and founder mindset.
  • Dedicated fundraising prep: narrative crafting, deck reviews, financial modeling, and investor meeting reps ahead of demo day.
  • Hands-on customer discovery and experimentation to tighten our wedge and ideal customer profile for Magier.

What I took away

  • A practical understanding of fundraising mechanics-SAFEs, valuation caps, round strategy, and what early-stage investors actually look for.
  • How to tell a concise, compelling story that connects vision, product, traction, and business model in a way investors and customers both understand.
  • A habit of running the company by the numbers: clear KPIs, simple dashboards, and weekly operating rhythms.
  • The confidence to operate as a founder, not just an engineer- negotiating, asking for capital, and building long-term investor relationships.
